Issue with Hypervisor host (Resolved)

  • We have a hardware issue with our hypervisor Alpha Centauri. We are currently investigating.

    Most workloads have been moved off this system, but some users may be impacted. If you have any ongoing issues please let our team know as soon as possible.

    Resolved

    All issues with Alpha Centauri have been resolved. Any workload that was left on the server has been removed. Any clients, if impacted, have been notified and were moved to a different server. We apologize for any inconveniences caused.

Intermittent Access Issue with Shared Server (Resolved)

Uptime issues (Resolved)

  • We are aware of an issue affecting one of our servers. Some VPS clients may experience uptime issues as a result. All Business Hosting clients are unaffected.

    We are working on diagnosing the cause and will have more information soon.

cPanel Database Offline (Resolved)

  • Our cp1.decibite.com server is having issues with the MariaDB database server at the moment. This is an upstream issue related to a cPanel update and is currently being addressed.

    It appears we were hit with an unexpectedly large backup this AM that caused issues with our cPanel server. Upon restart it ran into a separate issue with a recent update as described here: https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/known-issues-status-page.644133/#post-2709865

    We have the temporary fix in place and things should be running properly. We will schedule a future maintenance to implement the final fix once it is available.

Email and cPanel Access Issues (Resolved)

  • We are currently experiencing cPanel connection issues. This is affecting all Business Hosting customer's access to cPanel as well as all emails hosted on the server. Website access is not affected for the majority of clients. Most websites are still up and accessible.

    We apologize for any inconvenience and will have more information soon.

    All servers are now functioning properly. All email (incoming and outgoing) is accessible and users are now able to log into their cPanel Dashboard.

SSL Certificate Refresh (Resolved)

IO Latency on shared server (Resolved)

  • We are currently experiencing high IO on our shared cPanel server.

    This issue has been up and down over the last few weeks, and we believe that our backups are having a negative impact on regular operations.

    We are investigating the situation and should have a short term fix and a long term fix shortly.

    Situation is a little better now. Sites are still not as performant as optimal. More updates to come.

    IO is reasonable but not upto normal standards. Shared server is being moved to new host, please stay tuned while that is being scheduled.
